Itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel

Day 2-3 – In Kathmandu for Tibet visa processing

Day 4 – Drive to Zangmu (2350m-7708ft) O/N Hotel

Day 5 – Drive to Nyalam (3750m-12,300ft)- O/N Guest House

Day 6 – Rest day for acclimatization- O/N Guest House

Day 7 – Drive to Shishapangma Base Camp (4950m-16.236ft)

Day 8 – At the Base Camp to acclimatize and preparing loads to ABC

Day 9 – At the Base Camp to acclimatize and preparing loads to ABC

Day 10 – Trek to advance base camp (5540m-18,171ft)

Day 11-37 – Climbing period (26 days to climb Shisha-Pangma)

Day 38 – Trek back to base camp

Day 39 – Drive to Nyalam- O/N Guest House

Day 40 – Drive to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel

Day 41 – Free day in Kathmandu

Day 42 – Final departure

Optional – travel through Lhasa on the way to Base Camp.

 

Included:

  • Transfer airport-hotel-airport
  • Peak permit fee. Tibet visa fee.
  • Hotel accommodation with breakfast in Kathmandu at a good tourist class hotel for 5 nights and full board in Tibet.
  • Transportation of members, staffs and food supply from Kathmandu- Base Camp – Kathmandu
  • 40 kilograms per member from base camp-advance base camp-base camp.
  • Nepalese Sherpa cook and kitchen boy.
  • Equipment allowances, daily wages, insurance, food and tents for cook, kitchen boy, Liaison Officer & Interpreter.
  • Dining tent, Kitchen tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs & tables
  • Generator /Solar panel at advance base camp for light and charging.
  • Single tent with padded floor and mattress for each member at base camp (north face or similar) and advance base camp.
  • Food and fuel at base camp and advance base camp during the expedition.
  • High way and conservation charges. Garbage deposits.
  • Emergency oxygen and mask at the advance base camp.(usage of the oxygen is subject to charges)
  • Satellite phone for emergency. Personal calls subject to charges at US$ 3 per minute
  • Services of High Altitude Sherpas (not private). This include the HA Sherpa’s Royalty fee, equipment allowances, wages, insurance, food & fuel, 3 oxygen bottles and mask set, climbing bonus, Summit bonus. Note: Summit bonuses are not redeemable once the climbing party has started to climb above the last camp except in exceptional circumstances.
  • Factory Ordered Poisk Oxygen Bottles and Poisk system mask and regulator

Not included:

  • International flights other than Kathmandu-Lhasa.
  • Nepal entry visa fee. (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival)
  • Reentry visa for Nepal. The re-entry visa can be obtained at the immigration office in Kodari.
  • Meals in Kathmandu.
  • Hotel after 5 nights stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal climbing gear above advance base camp
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation and lost luggage
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, communication equipment and commercial filming
  • International airport departure tax at Kathmandu Airport.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone and Email, etc.
  • Applicable customs duty and import license fees for all expedition goods arriving in Nepal as air/road cargo
  • Tips and bonuses
